What is the Histio Awareness Adventure??

It's a walk/hike through a beautiful state park with friends and family who are coming together to raise critical awareness and funds for Histiocytosis. This event is being organized by one of our youth histio ambassadors, Brady. Below are a few words from him on why he chose this event:

"When I chose to do an event, I chose an outdoor location to highlight the healing power of nature in our tech-driven world. I think being outside and enjoying nature can really help us feel better and more connected.  I’m reaching out to invite you to a special event I'm organizing to raise awareness and support for those affected by Histiocytosis. This event means a lot to me, and I hope to bring our community together to show our support and learn more about this rare disease."    - Brady Williamson

The Lake Trail is 2.3 miles long and encircles Double Oak Lake, offering scenic views and a connection to the Rattlesnake Ridge section. The trail features gentle rolling terrain with some inclines.
